Register your account (first-time users)

Set up your CGS One App password using your domain ID and Carelon email.

Before you start

  • Your domain ID: 2 letters followed by 5 numbers, for example AL12345.
  • Access to your Carelon email inbox. The registration link is sent there.
  • About 10 minutes. The registration link expires 10 minutes after it's sent.

Steps

  1. Go to the sign-in page. Enter your domain ID in the boxes, then select Next.
  2. If your account isn't registered yet, you'll see Register Your Account. Select Register. You'll then see Check your email.
  3. In your Carelon email, open the message Verify Your Registration from CGS One App and select Set Password. Do this within 10 minutes.
  4. Read the Privacy Notice, tick the box to confirm you've read and understood it, then select Continue.
  5. On Set Your Password, type your new password in Set Password and again in Confirm Password, then select Register.

    This is a new password

    Your CGS One App password is just for CGS One App. It's separate from the one you use to sign in to your workstation or your Carelon email, and changing one doesn't change the other.
  6. When you see You're all set, select Go to login and sign in with your domain ID and new password.

You'll also receive a Welcome to CGS One App email with a record of the privacy notice you acknowledged.

Password rules

Your password must:

  • be 8 to 36 characters long
  • include at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter and one number
  • include at least one of these special characters: @ . # $ ! % * ? &

Only letters, numbers and the special characters above are allowed. Other symbols, such as -, _ or a space, aren't accepted. If you use one, you'll see Use only letters, numbers and these special characters.

Pasting is turned off on the password fields, so type your password in both Set Password and Confirm Password.

If something goes wrong

  • No email? Check your spam or junk folder. If it still isn't there, start again from step 1 to send a new link.
  • Link not valid or This registration link has expired. The link is older than 10 minutes, or a newer link has replaced it. Only the most recent link works. Start again from step 1.
  • Invalid Domain ID: check each character of your domain ID and try again. If you're a new hire, this also appears until your Workday record has reached CGS One App. If your ID is correct, try again later.
  • Account is already registered. Please sign in. You've already registered. Sign in with your password, or reset your password if you've forgotten it.
